Frequently asked questions

How do I get my order?


Delivery and pick-up is available from 10am-3pm and by pre-arrangement only, as I bake out of a commissary kitchen and do not have a store front. If you would like to pick up your order outside of these hours, I will try to accommodate you. I will also try to accommodate rush orders but orders may be subject to additional fees. A minimum of 72 hours is required but the more notice I have, the better! For Pickup: Because I bake out of a commissary kitchen and do not have a store front, you must indicate the date and time you would like to pick up your order during check-out. Orders can be picked up at: A5/A6 - 5279 Still Creek Ave Burnaby, BC V5C 5V1 (Located in YVR Prep Commissary) Please park in the front of the building near A5 (YVR Prep) and A9 (Geo Scan) loading bays and call or text me when you arrive. You can also pick up at any of the Farmer's Market dates I have listed on my Events Page. For Deliveries: During checkout, you must provide very detailed instructions including the date, time, name, address, and phone number of the person or business receiving the delivery. Further details, including any landmarks or special instructions are always helpful. Please ensure that someone is able to receive deliveries. Additional delivery attempts will be subject to additional delivery fees. I cannot leave any deliveries outside since my products are perishable and too tempting for hungry animals. I now offer a flat rate of $15 for deliveries, up to a 25 km radius.




How long do your products stay fresh?


Cupcakes and Cakes can be kept at cool room temperature for 24 hours (except for carrot cupcakes and cakes with cream cheese buttercream, please place them in the fridge). If you don't plan on enjoying them within 24 hours, cupcakes and cake can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. Cookies can be stored at cool room temperature for up to 7 days but are best enjoyed within a couple days. You'll probably not have to worry about that though. Ready to Bake Cookie Dough must be stored in the freezer and should be baked from frozen. Cookie dough can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.




Do your products contain nuts?


My peanut butter cookies have peanuts in them, lots of peanuts. And my almond cranberry cookies are made from almond flour. All products are made in a kitchen that uses nut ingredients. I make every effort to keep nut products separate from other products, but cannot guarantee that they are nut free.




Do you make custom orders?


Yes, I make custom orders, but only slight variations to my current menu. Please note that I do not work with fondant at this time. If you are looking for cake or cupcakes using fondant, I'd be happy to pass some names along to you. Please send me an email to discuss your ideas. Cost for custom orders depends on the product and details you would like. Prices typically start at $4/standard size cupcake and $6/serving for cakes.




Do you offer gluten free products?


My almond cranberry cookie is gluten free. It is made with almond flour, egg whites, gluten free cranberries, pure vanilla extract, and lemon zest.




Can I eat the Ready to Bake Cookie Dough?


No, please don't get sick! The cookie dough is meant to be baked and enjoyed warm. Please follow the directions on the back of the packaging. Be sure to bake until the edges of the cookie are lightly brown and the middle is set (does not look wet and raw). Baking times vary as ovens vary in temperature.
